The Mayo Performing Arts Center (MPAC) in Morristown, NJ is seeking a full-time Production House Staff Member to work alongside our production staff and crew, assisting the House Lighting Designer with all lighting and electrical elements for live events. This role emphasizes modern technology, requiring experience in theater and/or live concert lighting. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently, and have flexibility to work days, nights and weekends are essential to this position.

Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:• Assist the production team with maintaining production-related inventory, including minor repairs, cleaning, and safe handling.
• Operate a follow spot, focus lighting, and troubleshoot lighting and stage-related issues.
• Work at heights, including climbing lighting trusses, personnel lifts, and ladders. Candidates must be comfortable with heights or willing to learn.
• Collaborate closely with the Lighting Designer (LD) and other production team members, including those outside the Lighting department, to ensure high-quality event production.
• Other duties as necessary and required .
Requirements
Union Qualification:This position is covered under an IATSE Local 632 Collective Bargaining Agreement. However, applicants do not need to be union members to apply for or be eligible for this position.
