Appel Farm Arts Camp, a residential non-profit arts center is seeking dining hall servers to assist the chef team in serving meals from two serving stations for breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. Positions available from June 9th to August 5th. Meals served at 8am, 12pm and 6:30pm. Help on any days/times are welcome. You choose! Will be working with camp counselors and children aged 8 to 16. Great for individuals, seniors, and friend groups looking to meet new people in an energized, inclusive camp environment. Great for college students/grads who want further experience for their resume. Social volunteer groups looking to make a difference in their community are welcome too!
Duties and Responsibilities
Position duties• Serving meals
• Cleaning tables
• Sweeping floors
Volunteer positions become available from June 9th to August 2nd. The shifts are two hour time frames and will be working with children and counselors.
Should be a social, friendly person able to communicate clearly with both adults and children with ease. Working with diverse population.
Choose the dates and shifts you would be available: Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. Join us for a shift or two, or commit to a week. Any dates and times are welcome!
Requirements
• Interview with Executive Leader of Infrastructure, Dani Cooke.• Background check required.
• Should wear comfortable shoes as will be standing for serving.
