McCarter Theatre Center is seeking a skilled and collaborative Sound Supervisor to lead all aspects of sound operations across our theatrical and presenting programming. Working under the direction of the Stage Operations Director, this role is responsible for the planning, execution, and day-to-day leadership of a department that touches every production we put on stage — from initial load-in through final strike. The Sound Supervisor ensures that every performance is supported by technically excellent, artistically responsive sound, while maintaining department systems and equipment and serving as a trusted partner to visiting designers, artists, and colleagues across the production team.

POSITION SUMMARY


McCarter Theatre Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to support the implementation, operation, and maintenance of lighting systems and equipment across all of our venues. Working under the direction of the Stage Operations Director, this role engages the full arc of production activity — from hang and focus through performance and strike — while also contributing to the ongoing care and readiness of McCarter's electrical infrastructure. The Electrician works hands-on across our theaters, rehearsal spaces, and public areas, serving as a reliable and collaborative presence on a production team dedicated to bringing exceptional work to the stage.

McCarter Theatre Center is seeking skilled and collaborative Stage Technicians to support the full range of production activity across our venues. Working under the direction of the Stage Operations Director, Stage Technicians serve in a variety of capacities — including electrics, automation, props running, sound, and more — from load-in through performance and strike. This role works hands-on across our theaters, rehearsal spaces, and public areas, contributing to both the day-to-day demands of a busy producing and presenting organization and the ongoing care of McCarter's production infrastructure.
